Export Formats

HTML (Dark / Light)

This is the most robust format. It attempts to replicate the Discord client look and feel. It supports viewing images, playing videos, and seeing profile pictures (if assets are downloaded).

• Extension: .html
• Best for: Archival, viewing, sharing.

Plain Text

A simple, human-readable text log. Markdown is stripped or simplified.

• Extension: .txt
• Best for: Searching with grep, small file size.

CSV (Comma-Separated Values)

A structured format useful for importing into spreadsheet software like Excel or Google Sheets.

• Columns: AuthorID, Author, Date, Content, Attachments, Reactions.
• Extension: .csv
• Best for: Data analysis, spreadsheets.

JSON

A machine-readable format containing the full fidelity of the exported data.

• Extension: .json
• Best for: Programmatic processing, importing into other tools.
